A story of two farms families

Nature’s Yoke is a now fourth-generation family farm with over 60 years of serving our customers with the high quality products of local farmers. At Nature’s Yoke, we are all about building connections from small farms to your kitchen, and we remain committed to that mission.

Our partnership with September Farm is a continuation of that commitment, bringing their unique, locally made cheeses, cheese curds and yogurts from their family farm and restaurant to stores near you!

Dave Rotelle started on his way towards cheese making with a dairy farm in Chester County, PA. Dave’s farm would receive the Dairy of Distinction award in 2002, and Dave himself was named Chester County Farmer of the Year in 2013.

Starting with a basic kit, Dave decided he wanted to make the move into artisan cheesemaking, and would found September Farm Cheese in 2007. Dave and his family would go on to develop unique cheddar and jack cheeses, like their award winning Chives & Dill Jack.

In addition to their incredible cheese selection, September Farm has also developed a line of delicious yogurts and cheese curds, all made from locally sourced whole milk produced on small family farms.
